Full-time adult average weekly ordinary time earnings: $1484.50
Full-time adult average weekly total earnings: $1545.60
All employees average weekly total earnings: $1136.60
These correspond roughly to two ABS income categories on the map:

A person earning these weekly incomes would be spending more than 30 per cent of their income to rent:
For 1 bedroom dwellings: You pay more than 30% of your income in 26 of the LGAs.
For 2 bedroom dwellings: You pay more than 30% of your income in 34 of the LGAs.
For 3 bedroom dwellings: You pay more than 30% of your income in 48 of the LGAs.
For 4 bedroom dwellings: You pay more than 30% of your income in all 51 LGAs.
Usually, the estimates for equivalised disposable household incomes are lower than these estimates. In 2013-14, the equivalised disposable household income ranged from $374 per week to $2131 per week for the lowest to the highest quintile, with $1014 per week for all persons. Thus, these affordability trends hold for households too.
